DGI's Programs Coordinator, Jason Barahona Rosales, will give a short primer on degrowth, which calls for a just transition to a smaller economy. Then Madeleine Sullivan, a Digital Business Analyst at Caterpillar with deep expertise in circular economies, will give a brief history of how we became a single-use, disposable consumer product society, and discuss how our conversations about sustainability rarely attempt to actually challenge underserving status quo systems.
