Reflecting on the commentary of this year's New York Climate Week, Lost the Plot founder Kara Rodby challenges climate professionals to step back from the day-to-day mechanics of their careers and ask a harder question: is the work we're doing actually moving the needle on climate, or even related to climate? Or have we gotten so deep into the weeds of technology development that we've lost sight of what we're supposed to be solving? Kara calls for more critical thinking and radical honesty in the industry to, at minimum, drop the virtue signaling, to allow for deeper reflection that can lead to more meaningful action.
